We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor to assist our growing team The Production Supervisor will provide leadership across his/her department(s) on the Company’s day shift. The Production Supervisor will report to the Company’s Plant Manager and will oversee Production in his/her area.
**Production Supervisor Responsibilities**
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the a portion of the production floor, which could include panel processing, sanding, finishing, and assembly
- Lead, train, and support team members to achieve production targets
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to meet client specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with OHSA and company standards
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve workflow bottlenecks
- Accurately complete daily reporting requirements in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Experience in a woodworking or millwork business would be preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work on your feet for extended periods of time
