**Production Supervisor**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure production and staffing meet production targets and objectives; increase production efficiency by organizing manpower, evaluating activities performed, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements
- Maintain accurate daily shift notes; communicate production statistics, results, health and safety concerns, or any other notable event from the shift to the Plant Manager on a daily basis
- Create a safety-conscious work environment by taking precautionary measures against accidents, providing proper PPE, monitoring, and enforcing Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Lead a team of employees (permanent and temp staffing); drive performance through effective collaboration, coaching, goal setting and performance management; conduct annual performance reviews
- Monitor process effectiveness and make recommendations on how to improve
- Ensure employees follow production guidelines and work instructions, and that proper tools are in place and used to complete the job
- Assist in cross-training of employees to achieve a more flexible, versatile team
- Monitor usage of materials, track waste and manage resources to effectively reduce waste
- Other duties and responsibilities as required

**Skills and Behaviour**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) - Fluent in English

**Education and Experience**:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience and managing a team in a manufacturing environment
- Valid and up-to-date Forklift Drivers license (experience operating sit-down counterbalance)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Shifts:
Day Shift (Mon-Fri) 7:00am-3:30pm,

Weekend Shift (Wed-Sun) 8:00am-4:30pm,

Night Shift (Mon-Fri) 11:00pm-7:30am

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
