We are currently looking to fill a Full-Time Supervisor position with our Production department.

**Overview of Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct performance and discipline meetings in accordance with company policies and employment standards.
- Supervise daily production operations to ensure schedules, quality standards, and efficiency targets are met.
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate production staff to maintain high performance and engagement.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments to optimize workflow, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, CFIA, SQF/BRC, and company quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper sanitation.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records for production output, employee performance, inventory usage, and shift reports.
- Enforce health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for production or quality concerns.
- Manage shift scheduling, attendance, and performance of production employees.
- Communicate effectively with management on production status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a unionized food manufacturing or related production environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, CFIA, GFSI programs such as SQF or BRC).
- Familiarity with Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and safe work practices.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with conflict resolution, including handling performance and discipline meetings professionally.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement tools is an asset.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as required.

**Schedule**:

- 8-hour shift
- Weekly rotating shift between days, afternoons and nights
- Overtime Available

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
