We support many individuals living in Long Term Care (LTC) by providing leisure support in the community, advocacy, and person-directed supports that facilitate meaningful connections with family and friends. We are hiring **THREE** (3) dedicated **Developmental Support Professionals** seeking a meaningful career choice, who have a strong work ethic, and who will embrace our mission and values as they provide person-directed supports in people’s home and in their communities. These roles: - Seek and facilitate opportunities within the community to help build and nurture relationships with family, friends, neighbours and community members. - Seek and facilitate lifelong learning, leisure and/or volunteer opportunities, as articulated in Person-Centered Plans. - Provide support to individuals based on personal strengths and needs. Some tasks could include, but are not limited to, assisting with community participation (leisure, volunteer), daily living skills, personal care and fostering independence through a holistic and person-centered approach of "do with, not for". All positions offer regular hours of work, relief hours, competitive wages and benefits for both part-time and full-time employees, as well as opportunities for career advancement. The shifts are fixed on a two week rotation, as follows: **POSTING 1** - ONE vacancy A valid driver's license, valid insurance and a motor vehicle records check, in good standing are required for POSTING 1. Week 1 = 24.5 hours - Monday - 12pm to 3pm - Wednesday - 10pm to 8am (overnight sleep shift) - Thursday - 9am to 4:30pm - Saturday - 4pm - 8pm Week 2 = 31 hours - Sunday - 9am - 5pm - Monday - 12pm to 3pm - Thursday - 9am to 4:30pm - Friday - 9am to 4pm / 6pm to 10pm **POSTING 2** - ONE vacancy A valid driver's license, valid insurance and a motor vehicle records check, in good standing are required for POSTING 2.
