We’re hiring **THREE (3) part-time, permanent, person-centered Direct Support Professionals** to provide one-on-one support that helps people connect with their community, build skills, and live life to the fullest.
- Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude.
- Have an interest in physical fitness and be willing and able to support the person to participate in a variety of fitness activities such as walking, swimming and working out.
- Teach life skills such as taking the bus and navigating the community.
- Seek out and facilitate opportunities to build and nurture relationships with family, friends, neighbours, and community members.
- Possess strong communication skills and be able to support literacy development (e.g., reading).
- Be tech-savvy, able to teach and assist with devices such as iPhones and iPads.
- Provide personal care and daily living support using a “do with, not for” approach to promote independence.
- Hold a valid driver’s license, valid insurance, a clean motor vehicle record, and have access to a reliable vehicle.

**Qualifications**:

- Developmental Services Worker (DSW) or a PSW diploma or related experience in human/social services
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check specific to the Alice Saddy Association.
- First Aid & CPR + AED and CPI certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (required upon hire).

Starting wage rate: $25.08/hour.

Overnight starting sleep rate: $18.73/hour.
