- Effective, April 1, 2025, the new salary range for this position will be $73,531 to $102,803 per year in accordance with AMAPCEO collective agreement provisions.

Are you passionate about transforming public transit and making a meaningful impact across Ontario's communities? Join one of our dynamic teams in the Transit Division. In this role, you'll help shape the development and implementation of innovative transit policies and funding programs that improve mobility, sustainability, and equity across the province.

You will help create and manage transit policies and funding programs by doing research, working with municipalities, and keeping track of new trends in transportation. You'll also make sure funding is delivered properly and on time. If you're good at solving problems, working with others, and making sense of complex information, we'd love to hear from you.

There are various positions available in the Transit Capital Branch and Transit Strategy and Implementation Branch.

- conduct research to help develop transit policies and programs.
- work with local governments and other partners to share information and answer questions.
- track trends and data to help improve transit services across the province.
- prepare reports and communications for senior leaders and stakeholders.-

Policy Experience**: You have experience with:

- policy and legislative processes
- program development and implementation- **
Research, evaluation and analysis**: You can:

- contribute to the development of innovative programs, implementation plans and standards/guidelines
- demonstrate sound judgment, sensitivity and a high degree of political acuity
- assess the effectiveness of policies/programs against Ministry initiatives and goals for evidence-based recommendations- **
Relationship building and communication**: You have:

- experience with creating and managing relationships with internal and external partners
- consultation skills and can provide appropriate advice on policies, standards and programs to stakeholders
- developed communication skills to respond to issues, provide recommendation and prepare reports using a variety of computer software
- presentation skills to create, lead and present research findings to senior management- **
Planning and organizational**: You can:

- plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines ands shifting priorities
