Apprentice RV Technician

Tee Pee Trade & RV Centre is looking to expand our working family by hiring a new member to our service team to provide value driven repairs for our customer base. Join this unique industry and our fun, hard-working team that services the Central Alberta area out of our location in Camrose, Alberta.

Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Compensation: Starting at $20 per hour, dependent on ticket progress and experience

Position responsibilities:

- Recreation vehicle technicians install, repair and maintain interior and exterior components on travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, and truck campers
- Duties may include: performing pre-delivery inspections; troubleshooting and repairing appliances such as furnaces, water heaters, refrigerators; structural repairs and maintenance on roofs, exterior fixtures, plumbing and electrical systems
- Use of manuals, internet websites and electrical equipment to repair, troubleshoot and diagnose components
- Communicate with supervisors, manufacturers and consumers to ensure timely, efficient and economical repairs
- A strong focus on detail, accuracy and value to our repair processes to ensure the best outcome for our customer base
- Other duties as required by the Shop Foreman or Service Manager

Position requirements:

- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide a personal set of required tools
- Focus on learning and growing in a unique industry
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Capability to periodically lift in excess of 30 kilograms
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
