**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise, train and coach all nursery sales staff
- Manage staff interaction to maintain a positive environment
- Reports to Assistant Outdoor Yard Manager
- Resolve any customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Merchandising all plants and trees to maximize sales
- Always maintain a safe working environment
- Able to lead staff as needed, process merchandise and track inventory
- Be accountable for any sales, productivity or operational issues
- Able to drive sales and develop action plans to increase sales
- Oversee the safety of all operations and follow-up as required for solutions
- Able to communicate professionally and be courteous to all customers and staff

**Requirements**:

- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Landscape Installer or solid retail experience in a related managerial position
- Knowledge of and how to care for different plants and trees
- Must be detail oriented, accurate and have an aptitude for basic math
- Leadership experience with a continuous improvement vision
- Strong work ethic - reliable and punctual
- Able to lead and direct a team for successful daily operations
- Proven organizational skills and ownership of the sales system
- Able to work outdoors with change in temperatures
- Ability to be a visible team-player and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Accuracy in your paperwork, attention to detailed information and able to provide solutions to clients in a positive manner
- Able to assume responsibility and have a flexible team-player attitude

**Job Type**: Seasonal

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 5 years (preferred)
