- Communicate openly with parents and is dedicated to meet the individual needs of each child and family in our Centre.
- Support the school's cultural and language immersion philosophy and understand that this role includes other duties as assigned.

**Your Qualifications**:

- Police Vulnerable Sector Check 6 months current to hiring date.
- Valid Standard CPR level C/First Aid Certificate
- Current TB Test (within the last 6 months) and up to date immunization record (COVID-19 considerations: All new staff members are required to be fully vaccinated)
- Meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.

**Other Requirements**:

- The RECE must be able to work shifts on Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:15am-6:00pm. Our Centre is closed on weekends.
- RECE's will work both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather. This position requires you to be able to pick up a minimum of 40 lbs
- and requires a lot of bending and picking up of children.

**- Bilingualism or ability to support Ukrainian language learning are required**: Ukrainian and English. Must have written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Ukrainian language skills must be of a calibre that allows for planning and delivery of programming in Ukrainian.

**Ukrainian Cooperative Nursery School of Toronto (“Svitlcyhka”) is located in central Etobicoke. We offer families a unique alternative for children ages 18 months to 6 years—an exclusively Ukrainian curriculum.**
