Landscape Sales Lead

**Overview**:We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and experienced landscape sales lead to join our team. This role is essential for managing relationships with landscapers, contractors, and business clients while driving sales, ensuring product orders are made on time, and meeting company budgets and targets. In addition to handling sales and client management, you will assist with day-to-day operations at our garden centre yard, including material handling, plant maintenance, and other duties as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales & Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landscapers, contractors, and business clients in the commercial sector.
- Identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and drive sales in landscape products and services.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and budget goals set by the company.
**Product Ordering & Sourcing**:
- Order products and materials in a timely manner to meet client needs.
- Source landscape materials and horticultural products while ensuring high-quality standards.
**Customer Service & Communication**:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs, inquiries, and concerns promptly.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, contractors, and internal team members on a day-to-day basis.
**Garden Center Yard Assistance**:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the garden centre yard, including maintenance of plants.
- Load bulk materials for contractors and businesses when necessary.
- Perform other general tasks as required in the garden centre.
**Organization & Time Management**:
- Maintain organized records for orders, sales, and inventory.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Exhibit a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and client expectations.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in landscape sales or a relevant sales field, especially working with contractors and businesses.
- Strong knowledge of horticultural products, landscaping practices, and materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with skid steers & forklifts.
- Valid G license
**Computer & Software Proficiency**:
- Comfortable using computer-based systems for sales, inventory management, and day-to-day communications.
- Experience with relevant sales and business software is an asset.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to assist in the physical labor of loading bulk materials and handling plants in the garden centre yard.
- Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
