**Position Title**: Hospitality Receiving Technician
**Status**: Regular Part-Time
**Hours**:Up to 24 hours per week

**Salary**:EPEW Band 5 (Start $24.43 - Max $28.29)

**About the Hospitality Receiving Technician Role**:
The Hospitality Receiving Technician supports the service operations of the Receiving Department and Culinary/Baking Labs at Humber Polytechnic. Some key responsibilities would include:

- Breakdown returned food wagons, check quality of products and discard any compromised food products
- Conduct end-of-day reset and cleaning for culinary/baking labs. Maintaining par stocks of cleaning supplies, paper goods and food products on a daily basis.
- Restocking equipment to ensure accurate par levels. Small wares inventory/control/organization.
- Conduct equipment functionality quality check and follow-up with lab maintenance Coordinator for any deficiencies. Submit a work order, if required.
- Deliver and pick up special equipment to and from lab/service area
- Repair reporting and follow-up with lab Maintenance Coordinator
- Assist with wagon building
- Perform data entry into FoodTrak Software. Input invoices and prepare costing reports.
- Ensuring the receiving area is clean
- Assist with receiving goods, lifting up to 50 lbs

**Experience/Skills**

One-year practical work experience related to the environment, which demonstrates knowledge of Health and Safety and Food safety regulations.
