We also pride ourselves in being a leading insurance agency, with high customer retention rates, high production rates for new business and are looking for members to join our team that will be driven to contribute to these successes. **Job Duties**: - Educates and advises our clients on insurance products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies. - discussions with clients/prospects, to uncover their specific insurance needs, to provide them options/solutions to meet those needs or gap in coverage. - Work with the team to service our existing clients and completes requests for changes to their policies - follow up with clients for outstanding items - prospecting existing clients for additional products - generating referrals and new leads **Job Requirements**: - Strong telephone communication and people skills - multi task and to ability to manage time effectively - Ability to build trust, be a good listener, patient and be likeable. - provide customer service to existing customers in a quick, efficient, friendly and accurate manner **Qualifications**: - Previous sales experience in any industry - Insurance experience in sales/service would be an asset - Property and Casualty license - existing OTL or RIBO licence an asset - fluent in English is required - fluent in Spanish would be an asset - life insurance licence would be an asset - passing OTL exam will be required if employment is offered, within a limited period of time Flexible work from home options available. - These positions are with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. This agents’ employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees._
