**Office Manager/Bookkeeper - Permanent part-time**
We are looking for someone who will work as an independent contractor in a permanent salaried, part-time position based on a renewable yearly contract. The hours will range from 20-30 hours/week. This position is in the non-profit Industrial sector and will be a remote work-from-home position with occasional time spent in a Hamilton-based office - a minimum of one (1) day per week in-office expected. Note that hours and tasks may vary from week to week depending on the company’s needs and interests.
**You Will**:
- Prepare for various on-site meetings, bookkeeping, financial reporting, invoicing, marketing, and various levels of administrative support to team members
- Review and prepare monthly financial reports
- Plan and prepare for team meetings and committee meetings, and responsible for planning various social events throughout the year - such as networking events
- Actively evaluate the company’s safety protocols, procedures, and objectives, and propose improvements when necessary
- Look for areas to improve: Update the Leadership team on any current and future developments or initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the administrative, marketing, and accounting-related business processes

- Exceptional communication, organizational, and people skills
- An outgoing, vibrant personality who likes to be the go-to person
- The ability to work independently, in a hybrid model
- Interest in a role that can be enhanced but one that will remain steady long term
- Previous experience in event planning; social, conference, appreciation, etc.
- Previous experience in bookkeeping; managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, preparing income statements, and balance sheets using accounting software is essential
- Intermediate+ skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
- A vehicle and valid G license required
