**Department Overview**
As a leading administrator of government services worldwide, Maximus Canada relies on its expertise and experience to help local, provincial and federal governments support their service delivery and business operations. A key driver of government transformation is how services are delivered to the public, which requires a re-thinking of the customer experience underlying systems, processes and policies that guide these interactions enabled by technology.
**Role Summary**
As a National Vice President of Business Process Services (BPS), you will have full Profit and Loss accountability, quickly expanding Business Process Services Division, including (but not limited to) the sale and delivery of all Business Process Services at Maximus in Canada.
As Maximus is primarily a Public Sector service provider, you will bring deep Canadian Public Sector Industry knowledge while having spent most of your already very successful career in similar Business Process Outsourcing leadership positions. You will have a demonstrated ability to use your extensive experience and creativity to design, propose and execute business process solutions for complex client problem.
**Your typical week at Maximus**
**Business Growth**:
- Accountable for the operation and growth of the Business Process Services Division (BPS), a key growth division at Maximus Canada.
- Securing new business via proposal creation, orals pricing, pricing within delegated authority and target margin, MSA, SOW creation/negotiation, etc., in concert with the BD team and/or the Account Team where appropriate and based on an established threshold.
- Refine the business model to ensure that growth and profitability are balanced and healthy
**Capacity Growth**:
- Ensure that the leadership skill mix and staff level mix are targeted to the market requirements and in line with our pipeline.
- Establish external strategic partnerships to enhance internal delivery capability and increase our chances of winning in the competitive market.
**Capabilities** **Growth**:
- Grow the delivery capacity of the BPS Division strategically based on demand.
- Grow the capabilities of the assigned BPS Division by establishing documented and repeatable methodologies, processes, approaches, and tools developed for the local market or adapted from Maximus international capabilities.
**Delivery**:
- Oversees the BPS Division P/L Leaders and teams in delivery excellence.
- Assumes responsibility for delivering the agreed-upon won programs.
- Ensure that the Division is delivering on all applicable contractual obligations.
- Ensure that Maximus delivers to the quality standards and agreed delivery timelines are met within the targeted margin.
**P/L Management**:
- Ensure that the Division is delivering at the agreed upon budgeted Revenue targets and Gross Margin Targets.
- Find growth opportunities inside existing program to grow the program by 10% on average per year.
- Step in as required as key resources and P/L leaders changes
- Ensure engagement scores are trending positively
**Issue resolution**:
- Address any issues or problems that arise during related to the Division.
- Address any issues related to any projects working with applicable stakeholders to resolve them efficiently and effectively.
**Leadership**:
- Work with the rest of the Maximus Leadership Team to leverage economies of scale.
- Act as a thought leader in the Sector by engaging in physical or virtual speaking engagements, social media presence and publishing.
- Leverage your industry depth and knowledge of key trends, emerging technologies, and leading practices to provide strategic guidance to our clients.
