You are looking for a permanent and full-time job of 40 hours a week.

We are looking for experienced **Day Dispatchers** at our establishment at **2400 rue Halpern in St-Laurent, Montreal.**

**Day to day tasks**:

- Ensure timely dispatch and off-site activity with the help of the team.
- Responsible for the streamlining and fine tuning the operations of local and regional transport
- Work as a team player with all Trans Plus departments as well as our direct clients
- Prepare and optimize truck routing for deliveries and pick-ups
- Ensure timely dispatch of freight, dispatch local driver’s for pick up and deliveries
- Update and track all pick-ups and deliveries in **Truck Mate**:

- Trailer control and detention at customers. Identifying equipment locations, movements and needs
- Verify the status and storage dates of containers
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Constant contact with the drivers
- Confirm delivery appointments with consignees
- Execute any other logistics administrative related tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of transportation and dispatching experience;
- Knowledge of container operations,
- Team player;
- Strong communication, organization skills and attention to detail;
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office, ((Truckmate, PC Miller and link logistics.) (An asset)
- Bilingual (French & English)
