**About the role**

**What you’ll do here**:

- Act as a primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of customers within the Container/Intermodal Division, ensuring efficient and timely container movements that meet their specific needs.
- Skillfully negotiate, book, and coordinate container movements, including managing the dispatching of container trucks for optimal scheduling and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure the seamless execution of container dispatch, addressing any operational challenges that may arise.
- Ensure proper documentation and customs paperwork for containerized cargo, including port procedures (Port of Montreal), complying with all relevant regulations and requirements.
- Provide comprehensive and satisfactory responses to customer inquiries related to container dispatch, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Continuously strive to achieve the highest level of dispatch efficiency and promptly address any container/intermodal-related issues that may impact delivery timelines.
- Take on various assignments to keep things running seamlessly within the Container/Intermodal team.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Container/Intermodal Dispatcher.
- Familiarity with TMW (Transportation Management System) considered an asset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and French, enabling effective communication with customers and internal teams.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team to achieve shared dispatch goals and targets.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in the Port of Montreal and familiarity with CN yard operations is highly desirable.
