**Overview**
This position involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including development, sales, marketing, and professional services, to ensure our products meet customer needs and align with WrightPlan’s vision for growth and innovation. This is a **hybrid **position (3 days a week in office).

**Your Responsibilities**:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with WrightPlan’s goals and the needs of our industry.
- Develop and manage a detailed product roadmap, balancing new features, improvements, and feedback from users.
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs, integrating insights into product development.
- Work closely with engineering, design, professional services and sales teams to guide product development from concept to launch, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines and go to market strategy.
- Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback and identifying pain points to drive continuous product improvement.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Manage the feature backlog, making data-driven decisions on prioritization to deliver maximum value to customers.
- Coordinate product launches, ensuring successful adoption, and oversee post-launch feedback and updates.
**Qualifications**:
- A degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Information Technology.
- 3+ years of product management experience in software development and product transformation, with a strong track record of revamping legacy products into modern, innovative solutions. Ideally, experience includes reimagining existing products to better meet current market needs, particularly within the construction or heavy equipment sectors.
- Certified Scrum Master (Nice to have)
- Proven ability to create and manage product roadmaps, with a history of successfully launching and iterating on products.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to articulate product vision and updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or similar) and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, showing initiative, strategic thinking, and a results-driven approach.
- Willing to travel around North America for discovery meetings, as needed.
- Must be willing to work from our Waterloo office at least 3 days a week (hybrid).
