**About the Role**

You will be responsible for the day-to-day, full cycle accounting process and own the G/L, financials, regulatory reporting, fixed assets, and year-end prep for multiple companies.
- Bank reconciliations, adjusting entries, intercompany transactions
- Support and oversee A/P team
- Vendor and credit card payments
- A/R, intercompany billing, stat decs
- Payroll, ROEs, T4s
- Monthly and year-end reconciliations and reporting
- Regulatory compliance and reporting (WCB, T5018s, EHT, PST, GST)
- Ensure accurate, organized, and compliant accounting records
- Champion accounting policies and internal controls
- Onboard new assets and maintain equipment cost reporting
- Input and maintain project cost tracking
- Act as ERP power user: manage access, cost codes, and project setup

You will be using Office 365, Sage 100, Acumatica, and Traild for these tasks.

**What You Bring**
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced understanding of Canadian GST/PST and payroll regulations
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and methodical with a high level of personal accountability
- Strong understanding of construction/project accounting
- Ability to stay current with accounting standards and regulations
- Desire to lead with empathy and emotional intelligence
