A day in the life of an **Account Manager** presents many opportunities to “wow” our customers — both industry partners and fellow team members.
Here, you discuss market trends, share a customer’s interest in a new lavender variety, and brainstorm solutions for any team challenges. Wrapping up the huddle, you draw on your strategic strengths and the experience of a fellow Account Manager to plan how you can build and grow business in new sales regions.
You then shift your focus to rebookings. Guided by your list view in our Salesforce-based CRM/ERP system, you review last season’s sales and reach out to a long-time customer. She is interested in adding Gaultheria to her Christmas line-up, so you exchange back-and-forth correspondence to ensure her order details are correct. You also consult with a fellow Account Manager about a recently introduced genera that will be a great fit for this customer’s winter program.
Taking a break from your desk, you walk over to the shipping warehouse for a quality check on the day’s shipments. You coordinate with the logistics team, confirming any remaining details for full trucks of Dianthus headed to big box stores across the Western United States.
This afternoon, you lead a customer visit and show them how the Lemon Cypress crop is shaping up. The group is looking forward to adding this variety to their fall planter program. As your day winds down, you follow up on the last few customer needs for the day and head home knowing you’ve played an active role in our customers’ continued success.

As an Account Manager, you play an integral, front-line role in supporting Qualitree’s vision. Your daily actions and interactions with customers are guided by our values. The Account Manager role leverages our Salesforce-based CRM/ERP system, an excellent administrative team, and a strong interpersonal skillset to support both the internal and external customer:

This role requires your dedication to supporting the Sales Team and Qualitree’s culture of collaboration and servant leadership. Account Managers actively participate in Sales Team interactions, ask for help when needed, and assist other team members. Maintaining a calm demeanor and leveraging conflict for the good of our customers and team is key to your role.

**What We Need From You**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite / G-Suite
- Excellent leadership capabilities with the ability to drive change and influence others

- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication in both spoken and written formats
- Ability to present sales proposals and effectively promote Qualitree products
**Your Duties Will Include**:
Sales Account Management:
- Guide our customers on product, timing, and availability
- Maintain healthy, productive relationships with industry partners and customers
- Drive revenue by proactively managing customer accounts and ensuring yearly and seasonal orders are booked according to the sales plan
- Assess seasonal sales reports to ensure customer historical quantities are reserved for the upcoming season (rebookings)
- Follow up with customers and broker partners, ensuring product is booked promptly
- Ensure internal management of orders is done on time; this allows the Sales Team to deal with overages and forecasting more effectively
Order Coordination:
- Accurately input orders and customer information in accordance with the sales process
