Responsibilities:

- Install various types of flooring, including carpet, tile, and hardwood
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old flooring, cleaning, and leveling
- Lay out and install flooring according to blueprints or design plans
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications

**Skills**:

- Prior tile setting/ installing experience required
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of flooring installation techniques and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or design plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during installation
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required

Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

- Monday to Friday

- Kitchener-Waterloo, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
