Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Framing: Construct and install framing for walls, ceilings, and roofs according to blueprints and building codes.

Drywalling: Install, tape, mud, and finish drywall to a smooth surface.

Flooring: Lay and install various types of flooring including tile, hardwood, and carpet.

Electrical: Perform basic electrical work such as installing outlets, light fixtures, and basic wiring.

Plumbing: Handle basic plumbing tasks such as installing faucets, toilets, pipes, and repairing leaks.

Insulation: Properly insulate walls, attics, and crawl spaces.

Cabinet Hanging: Install kitchen and bathroom cabinets securely and accurately.

Door Hanging: Install doors, frames, and hardware.

Painting: Paint interior spaces, including prep work (sanding, priming).

Baseboards & Trim: Install and finish baseboards, crown molding, and other trim work.

Tile Installation: Set and grout tiles on floors, walls, and backsplashes.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a general contractor or similar role in construction.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience with a variety of construction techniques and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Own tools and reliable transportation preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

- Monday to Friday
