Housekeeping Aides in the Unifor Hospital bargaining unit who are interested in the Team Lead role at the St. Joseph's Hospital site are invited to apply.
In addition to fulfilling job description responsibilities as a Housekeeping Aide on the team, the Team Lead will provide support to the manager/supervisors for the day-to-day functioning of the Environmental Services team, which includes directing the Housekeeping/Laundry cleaning operations as per the department heads' directives. The Team Lead will assist in ensuring that all Environmental Services staff fulfill their assignments and responsibilities.
It is the role of the Team Lead to: maintain and enforce the daily schedule, retain the cell phone for the duration of their shift and respond to calls, arrange for requests for emergency cleaning, replace shifts and reassign duties, and assist in ensuring that all Environmental Services staff fulfill their assignments and responsibilities. Shifts will include days and weekends as required. Currently the assigned shift for the Team Lead is 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.
