**Rate of Pay: $39.80 - $50.72 per hour**

Under the direct supervision of the Manager - Youth Residential & Clinical Programs, the Mental Health Clinician - Prevention Specialist (Team Lead) allocates 30% of their time managing the day-to-day activities of a team of Prevention Specialists with regular oversight and support to staff. This includes ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the provincial Eating Disorders Ontario (EDO) - Prevention strategy in the regions assigned to staff.

The remaining 70% of their time is dedicated to acting as an EDO Prevention Specialist. This includes; facilitating/performing health promotion, wellness education, prevention service delivery planning and implementation activities; participating in skills and capacity building activities; participating in local and provincial engagement activities across multiple sectors, participating in research and evaluation activities; providing consumer-oriented eating disorder information and reference material within the community using print and electronic resources; participating in academic forums.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Masters degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work
- Five years of clinical experience and demonstrated skills in assessment, counselling, group therapy and psychoeducation

**Skills/Abilities**
- Clear understanding and experience working with Eating Disorders
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Registered member of Professional College in good standing
- Ability to work irregular hours
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
