**Job Summary**

Dishwashers are an integral part of the Culinary Team at Big City Catering and they help keep our Kitchen clean in accordance with government guidelines and even more stringent Company guidelines.

This role requires individuals who are responsible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced catering environment.

We are hiring for full-time and part-time positions. Part-time arrangements are ideal to those seeking flexibility in their work schedule. Depending on your interest and availability, many of our staff also opt into other available roles at our Company.

**You’re day-to-day**
- Wash all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers
- Wash refrigerators, tables, utensils, cabinets, and other items used in the kitchen
- Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
- Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils
- Assist kitchen staff in related duties as required
- Ensure the kitchen area is well kept and maintained
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines including being ready to work at scheduled shift time, in uniform, with a neat and presentable appearance.

**What we’re looking for**
- 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, events environment is a plus
- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in high pressure environment
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency, proactively, resourcefully, and take initiative
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the role including standing/walking for entirety of shift, bending, pulling, pushing, using stairs, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
