Pre-engineered Steel Building Supervisor

**Position**:Pre-Engineered Steel Building Supervisor

**General Description**:
The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and drives the overall success of the company. This positon is responsible for leadership, direction and financial gain. Within this position, the Supervisor will maintain strong relationships with Vice Presidents, Human Resources and Accounting Departments.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and authorize all contract and change order and ensure accuracy based on the budget
- Drive the overall success of the company
- Plan, Implement, monitor, and adjust methods of tracking project performance with the established schedule of values
- Meet regularly with Project Managers to hold them accountable to their budgets and project performance
- Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of the division’s financials performance against budget, financial, and operational goals
- Provide strong leadership, direction, and support to the managerial team in attaining financial and operational goals
- Recognize conflicts early on and resolve them to the satisfaction of all involved parties
- Maintain strong relationships and alignment with the Vice Presidents, Estimating, Human Resources and Accounting Departments
- Build and Maintain client relationships
- Conduct side visits as needed
- Participate in formulating and administering company systems and processes
- Attend monthly upper management meetings with the President and Managers
- Involved in bid process; review proposed quotes, tenders and scope of work; review contract documents prior to signing
- Review all scopes of work, as prepared by the estimating and sales departments
- Assist the sales team in sourcing new projects and producing quotes
- Provide organization and ensure accuracy within all job duties
- Take initiative by voluntarily identifying and addressing existing and potential obstacles, issues and opportunities

**Experience/Qualifications/Essential Skills**:

- Min 10 years supervisory role experience
- Pre-engineered building systems experience
- Able to read building drawings and visualize in 3D
- Strong mathematical skills, strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, consultants, suppliers and coworkers;
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, job task planning and organizational skills. Architectural or Engineering Technologist, Engineer-in-Training, or equivalent experience and aptitude
- Working knowledge of current construction practices and methodology
- Experience with Sage 300 would be an asset
- PRIMAVERA P6 EXPERIENCE AN ASSET
- Proficiency with MS Office (including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, & VP Command)
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Education/proficiency with CAD or BIM is considered an asset
- Previous experience with Procore is considered an asset
