Our Patient Care Services department consists of the Patient Care Centers, Home Collections and Customer Care Center teams. They play a critical role in the customer service delivery as they have direct contact with our customers on a daily basis. DynaLIFE operates 30 Patient Care Centers that house a diverse compliment of employees with vast skill sets including: phlebotomy, ECG’s clinical trials and diagnostic testing.

**Major Functions and Responsibilities**
- Properly and efficiently perform phlebotomy, ECG’s, and specimen processing
- Required to work one on one with the patient in their home or long term care facility
- Travel to multiple locations per shift is required
- Prioritizes, organizes and adjusts daily work into an efficiently planned route.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting and decision making skills.
- Employs strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Communication with patients, physicians, and other health care professionals is required on a constant basis.
- Ability to work independently while within a team environment.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
- Flexibility to meet operational requirements including hours of work and location and changes in procedures.
- A good sense of direction and the ability to read and navigate with a map is required

Required Experience
- Recent Venipuncture experience, within the past 5 years, in an employment or student practical setting is an asset.
- Recent ECG experience, within the past 5 years, in an employment or student practical setting is an asset.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Experience performing collections with the elderly or infirm patients or working in a hospital setting would be considered an asset.
- Clinical setting experience is considered is an asset.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- High School Diploma.
- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant training program.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract

**Other Information**
- Employees working in Home Collections will receive a 5% premium on all hours worked. The premium is payable only on hours worked in the Home Collections department
- As workload demands and operational requirements shift, the location, dates and/or hours of work may be changed
- It is a condition of employment for all home collections employees to be immunized against all routine and annual infectious diseases, including influenza
- All persons newly hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_** must show their confirmation of SIN letter/SIN card and government issued photo ID to Human Resources prior to commencing work.
