**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Communicates clearly and respectfully. Courteous and polite to staff and clients.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Handle incoming calls using multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries or directing calls as needed. Good phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with the electronic medical records and maintaining the EMR accurately and confidentially.
- Assist with insurance verification and patient billing inquiries.
- Prepare and manage patient charts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Work is accurate and complete, organized and well-planned.
- Setting up materials needed for a procedure.
- Ability to prioritize tasks. Meets deadlines consistently and able to handle workload under pressure.

- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and Healthquest EMR is highly desirable to ensure accurate patient data management.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the office.
- Background in medical office operations or administrative roles is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
