To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, hands on, and safety-oriented individual to join our maintenance team. The Maintenance Operator will report to the Maintenance Manager and possess an Aerial Lift Operator ticket, with Fall Protection Certification. This position will be responsible for operating an Aerial Lift to perform maintenance and cleaning in the plant. Other duties will include operating a floor sweeper and assisting other individuals on the Maintenance Team. This position may lead to developmental opportunities for the right individual. All applicants must have their own CSA approved steel toe work boots.
The shift hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The starting wage is $20.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuuming pipes, crane rails, and equipment from aerial lift
- Complete Pre-Job Hazard Assessments and Equipment Pre-Use Inspections
- Assist Millwright with daily repairs and job tasks.
- Manually heavy lift materials to assist in loading/ unloading and stocking of material
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
- Other general labour duties as required
- Use any hand tools that may be required for tasks
- Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures

Education and Experience
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience, ideally in a Manufacturing/Production setting
- Fall Protection Certification
- Aerial Lift/Scissor Lift Certification
- On the job training, to include different materials, areas, and customer service, will be provided
