**Career Opportunity > Quality Assurance Manager** We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who has a proactive approach to problem solving and wants to be part of a growing Canadian manufacturing company. **As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will**: - Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management program - Establish quality standards using defined and measurable metrics - Participate and review in H&S risk analysis to provide solutions and eliminate hazards - Coach, mentor and develop direct reports by driving accountability and providing feedback - Work closely with customer service to address customer complaints including investigating and managing claims from start to finish - Provide detailed analysis on quality trends including “cost of quality” reporting - Manage the internal auditing program by performing daily/weekly audits and suggesting corrective actions based on analysis of results - Provide training to employees on quality standards and practices - Work with other Garaga manufacturing sites to identify best practices and document SOPs - Participate in leadership meetings as part of the local management team **What we are looking for in our Quality Assurance Manager**: - Seven (7) to Ten (10) years within a **manufacturing environment** - Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in Quality Assurance role - Degree in Engineering or relevant field - Experience managing and leading teams as a manager or supervisor - Certification in Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing (Green belt or higher) - Continuous Improvement expertise in process auditing and development - Strong working knowledge of SPC Systems - Project management experience and/or certification - Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams - Solid computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Positive attitude, with a mindset for continuous improvement Diversity.
