With exciting new products coming online our client Microbix Biosystems Inc. is seeking a MasterControl IT Training Administrator to join its IT team.

**Job Overview**:
Additionally, you will develop skills to assist with the development of eMES procedures ('Master Templates') and will serve, with training, as a backup to the MasterControl System Administrator. This role is not a 'Trainer' role, and you will not have extensive involvement in training delivery, except in the IT context where you will cross-train colleagues on your areas of expertise.

**Compensation**:

- Depending on experience ranges from $70,000 to $85,000

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer training functions of MasterControl eQMS, including course and role configuration and assignments, course design and implementation.
- Work closely with department directors, trainers, SMEs, and safety and biosafety personnel to determine and implement training requirements.
- Monitor and generate reports on training activities in the system.
- Provides training and advice to Mx template builders in the operational departments, and trains new builders.
- As a builder of Master Templates, assist in ensuring consistency and standardization of Master Templates, validation, and transfers Master Templates between environments.
- Coordinate with SME builders from operational departments and for administrative task related to Mx Master Templates in the Production environment.
- Document eQMS configuration requirements, define scope and objectives, and assist in the creation of system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
- Provide backup to the primary MasterControl System Administrator.

**Skills and/or Knowledge required**:

- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or relevant field
- 2 years of experience in a relevant capacity
- Good understanding of the design of training systems sufficient to assist in design, configure, and deploy effective training programs in the MasterControl environment.
- Understanding of the design and function of a Quality Management System in a regulated field.
- System administration experience in a multiuser environment requiring strict controls and high system availability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate and to implement user requirements in the MasterControl system.
- Communicates well in timely manner with colleagues to facilitate information exchange.
- Must be able to work effectively with the staff and directors of multiple departments to ensure that training system needs are met.
- Must be able to write at an advanced level of language proficiency, creating clear, concise, accurate technical documents.
