**Overview**:
The Analyst, Accounts Payable, is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices while adhering to established processes and controls as per the SOX Compliance program. The Analyst, Accounts Payable, should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change while demonstrating Pembina’s values. As a key internal service provider, the Analyst, Accounts Payable, requires strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate well to maintain a positive working relationship with Pembina’s vendors, business, and service units.
Guided by Pembina's values, Supply Chain collaborates across the Organization ensuring that all supply chain activities are executed with the highest standards of ethics and integrity and are in strict adherence to Pembina’s policies. Supply Chain delivers strategic value to the organization by optimizing technology for material acquisition, inventory carrying, transportation, and planning costs.
**Responsibilities may include but not limited to**:
- Process invoices accurately and manage AP exceptions using VIM/SAP;
- Ensure compliance with SOX standards and maintain process documentation;
- Review and improve processes for efficiency;
- Handle manual invoices, payment requisitions, and transaction postings in SAP;
- Resolve invoicing issues and assist with VIM exceptions;
- Process uploads, auto-debits, and tax requisitions in SAP;
- Monitor and maintain AP performance metrics (KPIs);
- Participate and support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma with Post-Secondary Education preferable;
- 3+ experience working in similar Accounts Payable role would be an asset;
- Knowledge of SAP, OpenText VIM and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is preferred;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word;
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize responsibilities; and
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
