**Forma Steel**creates steel roofing, siding, trim & custom panels in a variety of gauges, colors, and finishes for any structure. We manufacture our product in** Fort Macleod, AB**, just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB.

We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Forma Steel facility.

**Role**:Class 3 Truck Driver

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday

The role of Class 3 Truck Driver will be operating trucks, trailers, and delivery equipment in a safe and professional manner.

- Report directly to the Logistics Supervisor of Forma Steel.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a professional and courteous attitude.

- Maintain a clean work area through the duration of a shift.
- Operate trucks, trailers, and delivery equipment safely and professionally, following all regulations.
- Ensure timeliness and consistency, meeting quality and production standards.
- Always acts with the safety of themselves and others as a top priority.

- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment and loads, reporting any issues.
- Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset.
- Stay proactive and resourceful to ensure the job is completed efficiently.

**Do the Right Thing**
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and hazards.
- Will always properly use all the required PPE (hi-vis vest, safety glasses, earplugs, CSA-approved work boots, etc.).
- Take ownership of your work, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Verify that the correct product is delivered at each stop with proper documentation.
- Load, sort, and unload products at drop sites and lumber yards, ensuring accurate deliveries.

**Key Requirements of the Job**:

- Valid Class 3 License with a clean 3-year commercial abstract (dated within 30 days of the interview).
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience and claims free experience driving heavy trucks.
- Ability to sit for extended periods (8 to 10-hour shifts).
- Must have the ability to be alert while operating machinery
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
