**Structural Truss Systems** specializes in the design, manufacturing, and transportation of custom roof trusses, floor systems, and wall panels for every size of residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. We operate out of over 38,000 square feet of manufacturing facility in Fort MacLeod, AB, just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB.

**We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Structural Truss Systems facility.**

**Role**: Class 1 Driver - Truck Driver

**Job Type**: Full-time Permanent
**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct pre and post trip inspects on equipment and loads, reporting any deficiencies.
- Operate and maintain trucks, trailers, and delivery equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Sort and unload products, delivering them to drop sites and lumber yards.
- Verify correct product is delivered at every stop.
- Maintain strong communication with both office, logistics, peers and customers.
- Report directly to the Logistics Supervisor of Structural Truss Systems. Work in conjunction with other employees of the company.

**Key Requirements**:

- Must have a valid Class 1 License with a clean 3-year commercial abstract dated not more than 30 days prior to interview.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time (8 to 10-hour shifts).
- Ability to perform overnight trips as needed.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Ability to use hands to grasp, handle and feel. Frequent stooping, bending and stretching.

**Please note: You must have CSA approved work boots, as they are REQUIRED when on the manufacturing floor.**
