**Title**: Point of Sale Tester
**Duration**: 3+ months
**Location**: Toronto, Canada (REMOTE - Travel required as per business needs)
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform comprehensive testing of the APTOS Version 1 Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and reliability of the POS system.
- Identify, document, and report software defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance the performance of the POS system.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability of the system after updates or modifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in POS systems to contribute to ongoing improvements.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a POS Tester, specifically with APTOS Version 1.
- Solid understanding of Point of Sale (POS) systems and their functionalities.
- Proficient in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and report software defects.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with the development team and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or educational background in software testing or a related field will be an asset.
