What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work in the Insurance Contact Centre team. As a Manager of the Creditor Insurance Team, you will provide leadership and direction for service and sales activities to Leaders and Frontline staff in order to achieve short and long term client and sales targets, financial and strategic objectives, revenue and profit growth of the Contact Centre team. You will deliver a differentiated client experience and work closely with group of top performing service and sales people to support and foster a high performance culture.- At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. - How You’ll Succeed-
- Leadership - Lead a team of approximately 12 to 16 CIBC sales and service employees. Provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure individual and business goals are achieved and/or exceeded this includes attracting, aligning, motivating, and retaining a team with the competencies to meet present and future sales goals for a national sales force. Ensure that sales performance, service level metrics, financial results and other performance data are communicated with clarity and provide the information necessary to understand trends, issues, and opportunities within the business.
Sales - Provide leadership to the assigned team and ensure sound execution of sales strategies. Provide strategic and day-to-day management inclusive of sales volume targets, revenue and profitability, continuous volume growth, year-over-year increase in productivity per specialist, and value-add leadership consistent with CIBC’s values. Work with Senior Manager and product partners to ensure sales campaigns are developed, implemented and measured to ensure success.
Risk Management - Work with external partners, where necessary, to influence and streamline processes and activities. Reduce the costs associated with risk/compliance while minimizing and mitigating overall segment risk relative to the sales and service activities managed. Partner with Retail Risk Management and ensure compliance with the established policies, practices and procedures relative to the securing, monitoring and managing of risk related to the areas.
People management - Ensure exceptional staff are recruited, developed, trained, motivated, retained and that performance management processes are followed. Ensure that roles and accountabilities are defined and understood by the Sales Division and that these accountabilities are shared with key partners. Provide coaching and work closely with other managers to ensure a productive sales force.
Business Acumen - Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Creditor Insurance business including claims handling, product knowledge and project management.
