**Summary**
The Administrative Assistant will be required to perform an array of administrative duties including secretarial and receptionist duties. Additional responsibilities include taking minutes during meetings and keeping the reception/ kitchen area clean. This individual is also accountable for drafting, reviewing, and editing time-sensitive correspondence sent by the management team. Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

**Job Duties**
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor with all internal and external parties at all times.
- Assist production with paperwork as required.
- Prepare shipping packages, layouts for deliveries.
- Prepare shop drawing as required.
- Prepare engineering packages to be sent to customers.
- Assist with report and presentation preparation.
- Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels and place orders as required.
- Provide administrative support to all departmental members.
- Coordinate departmental office activities.
- Review, evaluate and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Take and transcribe dictation notes and meeting minutes.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
**Requirements**:
- Secondary School Diploma required.
- 2 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant, or relevant role, considered an asset.
- Hospitality and/or Construction industry experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to type 60 words per minute.
- Proficient use of various office based software including Microsoft Office Suite.
**Work Conditions**
- Busy office setting.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Interacts with public at large.
- Ability to conduct and attend presentations.
- Sitting for long periods.
- Repetitive work.
Overtime may be required.
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
