Using exceptional communication skills, the information you share will be clear and easily understood to ensure drivers know where they are going, when they are to arrive and what to expect upon arrival. The ability to multi-task is essential, and you must be able to take appropriate action with little supervision to ensure all deliveries and pickups are made on time, every time.

- Communicate respectfully with all colleagues within the organization to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships to foster team-based solutions to emergent issues.

**Essential Duties**

Allocate load assignments to drivers, then maintain continual contact with drivers assigned to a team and shift in a manner that each driver is monitored to ensure their safety and that they are on-schedule for the pickup or delivery.

Work closely and communicate effectively with drivers and our team of Customer Service Representatives to immediately notify customers of identified pick-up or delivery constraints or delays.

Before the driver leaves the shipper, consignee, or yard, request and confirm receipt of, notify drivers of successful receipt, then immediately review and route all documentation to ensure all documents are present, legible, complete, and forwarded to the relevant stakeholders.

Ensure timely communication of exact border clearance crossing times.

Directly contact relevant shipper or consignee when a driver is delayed at a pickup or delivery for one hour, and update the Truckmate system with the relevant detention information and claim.

Liaise between drivers and maintenance department for expedient response to service interruptions.

Immediately communicate to the applicable department (Payroll, Human Resources, Safety and Compliance, Maintenance) any planned or unplanned driver absence, safety concern, maintenance issue or disciplinary matter.
