Slab Prep Services Ltd has over 20 years of experience in multi-family and commercial installations; executing a wide-range of construction site preparations for concrete slabs.

We're looking for the newest addition to join our in-office team: an Accounting & Payroll Specialist. As an integral part of the organization, this is a great opportunity to showcase your Accounting & Payroll skills in a fast-paced, locally owned, long-standing business.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- 1. Bi-weekly payroll processing;
- 2. Payments to suppliers and statement reconciliations;
- 3. AR support;
- 4. GST filing and other regulatory payments (WCB, EHT, T5018, etc);
- 5. Invoicing customers;
- 6. Intercompany billing;
- 7. Administrative assistance.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- 2-4 years experience in the full-cycle accounting environment.
- Sage accounting software experience is an asset.
- Ceridian (or similar payroll software) is an asset.
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of regulatory filings
- Detail & deadline-oriented; strong organizational skills.
- Ease with multitasking, operating at a fast-pace, adaptable.
- Excellent English business communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
