IT PMO Analyst

**Job Background/Context**: PMO Analyst in the Financial Risk Technology organization for the Cross Markets Risk area. **Key Responsibilities**: This role will be accountable for the following responsibilities: - Establish best practices and Citi approved Project management procedures at organization PMO level - Provide governance over a team of Project and Program managers to ensure delivery of projects in accordance with Citi’s SDLC procedures which include many regulatory and compliance mandates. - Manage release cycles, write project documentation and other project admin related tasks - Project coordination for several areas within the Risk program/project portfolio - Assist technology leads and project managers in managing a large and complex portfolio of programs and projects - Managing several project metrics - Gantt / burn charts and associated CSCs and KPIs periodically - Enforce a culture of SDLC best practices across the technology group - Maintain existing departmental and Project Office policies and procedures - Continue to update and improve project methodologies, provide mentoring and training to other PM’s and act as an SME - Organize and facilitate closure of project and complete benefit analysis at the end of the project - Liaise with a range of teams from COS, Technology Central Business Office, Technology Leads, and Management Office team, providing insightful financial and business analyses and developing senior management reports, to define and track key operational/program metrics and to help drive business decisions to achieve goals - Utilize proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills to provide effective reporting and documentation including dashboards and scorecards - Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively communicate issues, risks and progress on complex processes to multiple stakeholders - Self-initiate, work productively when unsupervised and multitask across multiple concurrent projects - Has the confidence and ability to convincingly structure, summaries, defend and present recommendation **Qualifications**: - PMP or Agile/SAFE Project management certification preferred - 6+ Years relevant experience with PMP or similar certification, 8+ years of relevant experience without certification in an IT project leadership role with commensurate people management experience. **Skills**: - Expert level experience with SDLC processes - Agile/SAFE/Waterfall methodology - Expert level experience with managing projects, tasks, workflow and reporting in Jira - Experience with portfolio management tool like Planview or Clarity is desirable - not mandatory - Strong analytical skills, listening, presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
