**Company Description**:
The National Events Specialist is responsible for supporting the functions of the National Events Manager in developing a topline and innovative strategy, support with the execution of National and Regional projects. Will also be responsible for Managing and executing a well-designed National Event Car Program strategy with direct, as well for supporting all departments with the booking and activation of event marketing assets.

**MAJOR ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE ACHIEVEMENT OF KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES**

Support National Events Manager on overall strategy and execution.

Support Field Marketing Regions with the planning and execution of Small Fire Events.

Oversee the design, implementation, and strategy around event vehicles and sport trailers (planning and reporting).

Manage, control, and establish processes around the national event marketing infrastructure assets.

Manage, control, and execute, together with a Field member, all National Small Fire initiative.

Support Tent Pole events as main poc for participants, merchandising program, branding, among other specific tasks.

Develop new Small Fire concepts to present to Field Teams ahead of each BP cycle.

Manage and control the execution of key 3rd Party events / partnerships alongside with regional teams.

Sportsnet monthly recap creation.

Cross stakeholder support (Athletes, Gaming, Logistics, Media Network, Brand Marketing, Consumer Collecting).

Tracking best practices to then be shared with regional teams.

**Qualifications**:
3+ years’ working in sports or event marketing preferably with an agency, brand, or federation.

Extensive knowledge of Canadian and global sporting landscapes and trends.

With a network within the sports, events, media creative, and media industries.

Leadership, Innovation, Organization and Team Skills paramount.

Understanding of partnerships - success, performance, marketing, communication.

Supervision of marketing projects of all scales and management of strategy, marketing, communication, logistics, finance, legal, and sales-oriented challenges.

Personal Skills: Leadership, creativity, public speaking, creative, innovative, sporty, open-minded, confident, motivated, team capable, friendly, loyal, communicative, responsible, interested in working with people, supporting a team, international environment, organized, stress resistant, calm.

Excellent working knowledge of; PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Creative Suite.

Educated in sports, experiential marketing or media; work experience in sports industry, sport, events or marketing agency, sport institution or federation or as journalist. Experience in inventing and self-organizing and projects in sports.

Fluent in written and spoken English (second language appreciated).

University - Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
