Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a strategic and creative Senior Marketing Specialist to drive marketing efforts across Oliver & Bonacini’s Events & Catering portfolio. From social media and website updates to campaign execution and content production, this role is ideal for a results-oriented marketer who thrives on ownership, storytelling, and thoughtful execution.As the dedicated marketing lead for the Events & Catering division, you’ll manage all communications, promotions, and content across key channels, while collaborating with the broader marketing team to align initiatives with company-wide goals. This full-time position is based in our downtown Toronto office, with occasional visits to venues and restaurants.Marketing & Social MediaLead the execution of marketing campaigns for Events & Catering, including seasonal promotions, new venue launches, venue spotlights, seasonal menu launches etc.Maintain an annual marketing calendar that aligns with business goals and sales team prioritiesManage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) for Events & Catering — planning, writing, scheduling, and reporting on contentUpdate and maintain venue web pages and promotional content across O&B’s websitesCollaborate with the Marketing team to ensure Events & Catering campaigns are integrated across all touchpointsMaintain and update internal websites and external online listings (e.g., Eventsource, Unique Venues) with accurate information and new venue listingsContent Creation & DirectionWork closely with Event Specialists and the Event Sales team to identify high-impact, content-worthy eventsCoordinate coverage by arranging for in-house or freelance photographers, hourly content creators, or capturing content on-site when appropriateLead the planning and execution of photo and video shoots, including developing briefs and managing shot listsEnsure a steady pipeline of visual and written content to support campaign and evergreen marketing needsMaintain and organize a comprehensive library of current event, venue, and catering assetsWrite and edit engaging content for social media, websites, digital listings, and blog postsProject Coordination In collaboration with the Marketing team, oversee production and distribution of promotional materials including but not limited to menu packages, event/trade show collateral, signage, and printed collateralCoordinate site visits, installations, deliveries and execution of promotional projects with relevant partiesConduct regular audits to ensure all digital listings and venue materials are accurate and up to dateMaintain updated list of all vendors and suppliersCoordinate and facilitate all printing logistics, including determining order details/ specifications and collecting cost competitive quotesSupport facilitation and organization of digital assets for the events team, including but not limited to business cards.Track marketing expenses and assist with budget reconciliation and invoice processingMarket Research and ReportingConduct consumer and competitor market researchComplete post-campaign reports and distribute data as appropriateKeep up to date with emerging event trends and bring forward new sales and marketing ideasQualifications5–7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital content—ideally in hospitality, events, or lifestyle sectorsProven ability to lead marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social channelsStrong writing and editing skills, with an eye for brand tone and voiceExperience managing social media channels and publishing website contentSkilled at planning content coverage and working with photographers or content creators Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing timelines across multiple projectsFamiliarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms; basic design or photo editing skills are a plusA collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partnersDegree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferredLegally eligible to work in CanadaAbility to work from our Toronto office ( Queen/ Bay St)Additional InformationThis is an existing role with a current vacancy. Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000AI Disclosure To ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software.
