Position Overview:
Applications are invited for the position of **Birthday Party Host** for Guelph Museums, within the Culture and Recreation Department. This position is responsible for the preparation and delivery of children’s birthday parties at Guelph Civic Museum.

**Hours of Work**:
Up to 20 hours per week. Hours will vary. Weekend availability required.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Set up tables, chairs, and activities.
- Lead activities for party participants.
- Serve pizza, cake, and beverages.
- Clean up following the party.
- Provide friendly customer service.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and requirements**:

- Secondary school education.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience interacting with children and adults in public program setting

**Pay/Salary**:
$17.24 - $18.15 per hour
