Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to oversee daily freight operations and ensure the smooth coordination of shipments. This role requires someone who can build LTL shipments, effectively manage driver schedules, handle customs clearance, and provide after-hours support, including weekends when required. If you excel under pressure and have strong problem-solving skills, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities
- Assign and dispatch loads to drivers, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor shipments in real-time and proactively address delays or disruptions.
- Handle customs clearance to ensure seamless border crossings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, customers, and warehouse teams.
- Provide after-hours and weekend support (remote when required) to maintain operations.
- Maintain accurate records of load statuses, driver availability, and customer communications.
- Work closely with brokers, carriers, and customers to optimize load efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations ano transportation policies.
- Build and route LTL shipments efficiently to maximize load capacity

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination.
- Strong understanding of customs clearance and cross-border shipments.
- ⁠Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive situations.
- Flexibility to work weekends and after-hours as needed.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and tracking systems is a plus.
