- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of large scale landscaping projects including; setting grades, steps, retaining walls, patios, tree planting, sodding, plant material, soils etc
- Must be able to supervise & motivate a crew of 3-5 people in a way that projects are being completed efficiently and profitably from planning stage through to completion. Responsible for safety of crew. Ability to safely train employees on safe working procedures with tools, equipment and vehicles
- Able to operate equipment safely and efficiently; maintain maintenance logs and able to repair the basics
- The ability to read drawings, identify plant material and an extensive knowledge of interlock materials, granular, soils and mulch
- Must maintain professional image in representing the company; ensure all crew members are wearing uniforms, PPE and are presentable to clients. Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with clients.
- Must have strong communication, time management & problem solving skills, including the ability to complete and submit paperwork on a daily basis

**Requirements**:

- Must have own means of transportation daily
- Must have valid drivers license, AZ license an asset

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Landscaping: 3 years (preferred)
