Location: Ottawa, ON

Type: Full-time | Hourly + Performance Bonus

We are a well-established and growing landscaping contractor based in Ottawa, working primarily on residential and commercial landscape installation projects. Our work includes grading and preparation, soil placement, sod and turf installation, and related site services, supported by organized field operations and experienced crews.

We are looking for a Landscape Lead Hand with strong hands-on landscaping experience, the ability to organize daily work, and the confidence to guide crew members while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The Role

  • Perform landscaping work on site alongside the crew
  • Help organize daily work and keep production on track
  • Support the Foreman with crew direction and job setup
  • Maintain quality standards for grading, prep, and installation
  • Assist with equipment handling, daily checks, and basic upkeep
  • Help track materials and report shortages or issues
  • Communicate clearly with crew members and site leadership
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn leadership and job-planning skills
  • Valid driver's license required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $27.50-$32.00 per hour
