**Summary of Duties**
Under the direction of the Manager of Dietary Services or designate, performs general food service delivery and clean up functions. Performs cashier functions occasionally.

**Work Performed**
Sets up food for special functions, meetings, salad bar and cafeteria buffet.

Serves cafeteria buffet.

Provides table service for sit down meal functions.

Prepares coffee and tea for special functions and cafeteria buffet.

Delivers food, beverages, napkins, plates and other supplies to special functions and meetings.

Picks up dishes after special functions.

Fills, operates and unloads dish machine.

Washes pots and other dishes.

Acts as cashier on a relief basis.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/Experience**
Successful completion of Grade 12 in the Province of Ontario or equivalent.

Ability to speak, write and understand English.

Completion of or enrolled in an accredited Food Handlers Certificate.

Experience in the hospitality or restaurant setting preferred.

Physically capable of performing all duties as required, including heavy lifting.

**Compensation Range**
Start - $23.63 per hour.
1 yr or 2080 hrs - $24.64 per hour.

This posting is for (1) temporary up to 1-year casual position.

Be available for shifts Monday through Friday from 7am until 4pm with some evenings and weekends. Subject to change. Scheduling is based off the needs of the café.
