- **DUTIES**
Reporting to the Simulation Centre Director, the Manager, Simulation Education is responsible for coordinating the use of simulation through a variety of methods ranging from low fidelity mannequins, standardized patients to high fidelity mannequins for all School programs, and for external clients. The Manager provides the leadership and educational expertise to ensure successful implementation of simulation within school programs and for external clients.
- **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in a health-related discipline (i.e. diagnostic imaging, medical laboratory sciences, paramedicine, physiotherapy, etc.), with education in simulation; or a combination of related education and experience may be considered
- Significant understanding of health care and community services simulation best practices
- Experience with adult education, learning principles and development of health care curriculum in a post-secondary environment
- Experience in design and implementation in curriculum development within simulation or experience in curriculum design and implementation in general
- Experience leading a large, diverse team, creating policies and working with budgets
- Experience overseeing projects, revenue generating initiatives, and collaborative simulations with outside partners
- Ability to manage resources to achieve the vision, mission and objectives of RRC Polytechnic and the Simulation Centre
- Strong organizational skills for scheduling and coordination of effective service delivery
- Strong communication skills for working with diverse teams and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Effective interpersonal skills to build partnerships and positive relationships internally and externally
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Master’s Degree in a related discipline
- Knowledge related to procurement
- Experience with Post Secondary Education
- Experience with accreditation and regulatory oversight

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work overtime
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
