- **POSITION TYPE**:Full-Time Position Available
- **SALARY**: $51,573 - $72,573 per annum
- **POSITION LOCATION**: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)
- **DUTIES**
Red River College Polytechnic requires an Educational Assistant for the Paramedicine programs. The Educational Assistant will be responsible for providing support to Instructors of the Advanced Care and Primary Care Paramedic programs. Duties include, but are not limited to the preparation of labs, coordinating a lab schedule, setting up lab equipment and mannequins, ordering supplies, maintaining inventory records, evaluation and supervision of students, and performing related administrative responsibilities as required.
- **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Attainment of appropriate professional certification/license within the related field, if applicable. Certification in First Aid (Level 1 or 2), as applicable to the training environment
- Relevant experience in a healthcare setting or related field of study
- Effective communication skills
- Effective presentation skills with ability to present material to diverse groups with the use of appropriate technology
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience in a clinical simulation environment

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check
