**Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Payroll Management**
- Lead end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring full compliance with federal, provincial, and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee data within UKG and other payroll systems, ensuring confidentiality and precision.
- Stay current on payroll regulations, proactively updating processes to maintain compliance.
- Manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles across multiple companies, jurisdictions., guaranteeing system integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Address and resolve payroll inquiries with a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy.
- Perform quarterly and annual reconciliation of T4 information and benefit statements.

**Benefits Administration and Reconciliation**
- Administer health, dental, vision, RRSP, and 401k benefits for both Canadian and U.S. employees, ensuring smooth operation and accuracy.
- Process and reconcile deductions, garnishments, and benefit premiums, collaborating with external providers as needed.
- Reconcile payroll liability accounts and manage payroll entries, including GL accounts, provincial EHT, and WCB payments.

**Project and Process Improvement**
- Generate detailed payroll reports using UKG and Tableau, providing insights to guide HR and business decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement of payroll processes, ensuring high data integrity and efficient benefits management.
- Support benefits renewals and work on projects to enhance process efficiencies across HR and payroll systems.

**Qualifications**:

- PCP or PLP designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in payroll administration with a demonstrated commitment to data accuracy.
- Expertise in Canadian and U.S. payroll processes, with firsthand experience in UKG or similar payroll systems.
- Strong diligence, with excellent data entry and payroll calculation skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with an elevated level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees across departments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
