**Abut the Role**:
The Product Manager is accountable for guiding product delivery through the software development process with a clear focus on customer insight and needs. To assist this goal, the PM collects market feedback from several internal (Sales, QA, Technical Support, Customer Success) & external sources (working with customers directly) in order to determine which features, projects and in some cases, new products, would be most beneficial to our customers, while balancing the resources available. The Product Manager role holds the final accountability for customer value, priority and details of all work done within the development team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead as Product Manager in the development process for Avenza’s desktop products, from strategic planning to day to day project activities.
- Assist in the gathering and assessment of customer needs and market insight, for input into development and business decisions.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going collaboration with customers and non-customers.
- Participate in conferences and industry events.
- Support other functional teams through the provision of advanced training and escalated support.
- Develop, implement and maintain a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.

**Requirements**:

- This role involves working with customers located around the world, and as such there is a requirement to be able to work flexibly to suit the relevant time zones of customers.
- Travel of up to 10% may be required.
- 3+ years of software marketing/product management experience.
- Knowledgeable in technology.
- Knowledge of managing desktop products a strong plus
- Knowledge of Avenza’s solutions is a strong plus.
- A Computer Science or Engineering degree or work experience is a strong plus.
